What do we do?

We want to help others & honour Emily

Emily always put other people before herself. Whether it was volunteering to hand lottery tickets out or go for the paper, she didit  all for the benefit of others. She constantly wanted everyone to be in a happier and more connected community where everyone was kind to each other and one where we all lived in harmony.

To honour this way of life for Emily, every year we hold a basketball tournament in her memory. The Basketball tournament is there to raise funds for a charity partner for that year.

Teams compete for the Emily Brunnen Shield.

Every year we change our charity partner so we can share the kindness with everyone and those who spend everyday trying to help others.

As well as our charity partner, we change the category of players for the tournament, from under 14 Boys, to Under 16 Girls and all the way to senior women!

Just like when Emily was with us, we make memories for all the players, coaches, officials and volunteers involved whilst helping those less fortunate and in need.

What started out as just a 'one off' game, has now turned into a full weekend of basketball and fun, and we want to go even bigger!

Since starting the tournament in 2018 we've had...
